Welcome to the ITM: Prof. Dr. Nina Cabezas Wallscheid
We are delighted about the appointment of Dr. Nina Cabezas Wallscheid as full professor by the ETH Board and welcome her warmly at the Institute of Translational Medicine (Department of Health Sciences and Technology)!
With Prof. Cabezas, the research work in the field of stem cell biology and aging at ETH receives a substantial boost.
Clinical studies resulting from this research will provide a significant added value to the field of Healthy Aging in healthcare. The already established existing outstanding cooperation with the Cantonal Hospital Baden will be further expanded for the required human research. Further collaborations, e.g. with the Departments of Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Nutrition at the University Hospitals of Zurich and Bern are planned.
